The month of November always inspires me to reflect upon what I am thankful for. This year as I look back, I am reminded just how much there really is. My amazing family that is so supportive, loving, and most importantly healthy. My clients, who truly are the best ever, and my amazing team who work so hard and continue to break records and goals. With so much uncertainty in our world, the more I think of the last year, I find more and more reasons to really count my blessings.
The month of October was another record month for not just me, but Engel & Völkers as well. We had a total of 24 advisors/brokers in our Million Dollar Club whose sales totaled over $60 million. Personally, I completed 15.5 sides for $9,961,750 in sales volume, for a year to date total of $57,212,000.
The market is still extremely hot. As we are faced with the possibility of additional shutdowns and more remote work opportunities, the appeal of Montana… Our big sky and open spaces are a strong draw to those living in more urban areas. Also, as you probably already know I am a strong proponent of listing and/or leaving your home on the market during the winter months. I have found that the buyers that come out in the winter are typically more serious and ready to make a move.

Home sales in Missoula/Ravalli Counties are up 11% with 2,409 total sales compared to 2,169 during this time last year. The average home price is up 15% to $409,468 and the median sale price is up 8% to $349,000. Flathead and Lake Counties saw growth with 2,757 sales, up 30%. The average sale price of $528,561 is up 25%, the median sale price is $375,000, up 15%.
